Re: Computer-Assisted Legal Research

https://casetext.com/ is EXCELLENT. But a bit expensive for random research. They offer a two week trial though and if you do the ground work and use the two weeks to suck down everything you can it works out ok. I use Justia a lot and I gather all the case law I can. Then use a gmail account at cas...

Re: Unlicensed vehicle issue - PA

Yesterday was the 3 year anniversary of this thread! Almost 26k views! I just pray that I have helped people stand up to whatever tyranny they face. I'm enjoying the quiet life. My Amish neighbor has been great. He and his wife are expecting their first child in a couple weeks. My brother on the oth...

Too many and the wrong type of animals kept on property

Hey, your friendly rabble-rouser here... I mentored my little brother well... He's got his own battle with an overreaching municipality... The Borough limits the number of animals on a property to 3. Doesn't matter it's 4 acres off a private drive at the end of a dead end street that you can only se...

Re: Unlicensed vehicle issue - PA

I just found out from the county courthouse that the citation has been withdrawn. When I asked why I was told that the township claimed the property was brought into compliance. Nothing really has changed, one vehicle left, another came so no net change... I did register two vehicles antique, but th...

Re: Unlicensed vehicle issue - PA

Well color me surprised. The judge wouldn't even let me speak... The township called their witness, went through a bunch of questions, made their case and when I got a chance to cross the judge shut me down stating that "this isn't the place for that, the purpose of this trial is to set the fin...

Re: President Trump

Interesting... As I said, a vote for Trump is a vote for authenticity. I'm learning and seeing more and more each day. So Obama divided white and black and Trump is left and right. Definitely a novel idea. I'm somewhere on the Libertarian / Anarchist boarder. Not sure what side some days. Product of...

Re: Unlicensed vehicle issue - PA

Good point, but I'd be shocked if they did. I would think they would keep it to case law. I've seen a few of the solicitors in court and they're usually not the top-dog, hot shots. But they do like their billing so sometimes they'll put up the good fight just to rack up the billing...

President Trump

When he was just running I predicted his win. I saw too many things that I thought were the end, only for him to make it work to his advantage. Some people claim he's playing 7th dimensional chess. Other's criticize that he's not doing enough and he's missing key opportunities. Grand chess masters? ...

Re: Unlicensed vehicle issue - PA

And one last thought on the matter. I have to look up the rules, but I can record the trial at the MDJ level. A friend of mine did, he said the court wants advanced notice. I'm going to pull the oath of the inspector and I'm going to try and impeach him on the stand by asking him to recite Article 1...

Re: Unlicensed vehicle issue - PA

Trial date is Nov 28th. I'll probably tweak, but this is what I've got so far. It's MDJ court, so I'll probably bring this more as an outline than something to give out, but I'll make copies just in case. I'm also going to make a "response" page to address any objections I can think of wit...
