New Here and Kindly making a request.

We get a lot of mail asking if we know of a group in Texas, or Alaska; lots of places. If you are part of a group that wants to give notice of its existence, so others can find you, please post your info here. If you're looking for a group in a particular area, ask here. If you're just looking to meet like-minded friends, this is also the place.

New Here and Kindly making a request.

I have been doing research on common law for months now but most site and info I have come across been mostly about how to be sovereign but is for US residents. Can i still gain sovereign status if i am a non US resident and originate from a British colony.
Any info and suggestions are very welcomed.

Welcome!

A lot of info you find on the net is flawed, especially in regards to the whole "sovereign citizen" movement. Maybe if you want to discuss your end goal, we could make our best suggestions as to the feasibility and/or unfeasibility of it.

The only real SOVEREIGN is God. All others are just pretending, and hope you pretend along with them, that they are sovereigns, but they are only FICTIONS. A "sovereign" doesn't ask if and how he can become sovereign. Nobody becomes "sovereign" based on their place of birth, or residence, or citizenship. Nobody has the right or authority to deem someone else a "sovereign," in the hopes that the population recognizes the king, queen, president, potentate, whatever, as such. There is only one King of kings, Lord of lords (1 Tim 6:15), only one lawgiver (James 4:12), only Christ is given all power in heaven and in earth (Mat 28:18).

What everyone of a sound mind does have is NATURAL RIGHTS which include the right of SELF DETERMINATION. These rights must be protected as property, as there are always people ready to trample them to improve their position in the pretend game of "sovereignty". People are all too willing, like Esau, to trade their rights for a bowl of stew, or to contract out of them for this or that BENEFIT, or to CONVERT their individual rights into collective PRIVILEGES, or be duped into thinking that a piece of paper can make them "sovereign". Lysander Spooner had something to say about these dupes:

The ostensible supporters of the Constitution, like the ostensible supporters of most other governments, are made up of three classes, viz.: 1. Knaves, a numerous and active class, who see in the government an instrument which they can use for their own aggrandizement or wealth. 2. Dupes—a large class, no doubt—each of whom, because he is allowed one voice out of millions in deciding what he may do with his own person and his own property, and because he is permitted to have the same voice in robbing, enslaving, and murdering others, that others have in robbing, enslaving, and murdering himself, is stupid enough to imagine that he is a “free man,” a “sovereign”; that this is “a free government”; “a government of equal rights,” “the best government on earth,” and such like absurdities. 3. A class who have some appreciation of the evils of government, but either do not see how to get rid of them, or do not choose to so far sacrifice their private interests as to give themselves seriously and earnestly to the work of making a change.

So, if you could please share what destination you have in mind, we can try to help put you on the right path.
