With our legal system completely corrupt, it’s difficult to know who the biggest crooks are. But the Banco Master scandal making headlines in the middle of the Brazilian presidential election – in a close race between Lula and Flávio Bolsonaro - looks interesting…
Daniel Vorcaro became the majority shareholder and chairman of the Brazilian Banco Master bank that promised large returns on savings. The operation was in practice, a kind of pyramid scheme, in which applications from new customers covered the returns of previous customers. When Banco Master went bankrupt, the Brazilian taxpayer bailed out the investors.
On 17 November 2025, Vorcaro was arrested at São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport when he was trying to flee on his private jet to either Malta or Dubai (in the UAE were else?) for this billions of dollars fraud.
Those who received money (bribes?) from Banco Master include (I’m not familiar with most of these names...)
Guido Mantega (a million reais per month);
Ricardo Lewandowski (6 million reais to his family's office);
Viviane Barci de Moraes, wife of minister Alexandre de Moraes (a 129 million reais contract paid in 3.6 million per month);
Michel Temer former president of Brazil;
Antônio de Rueda, former president of the União Brasil party;
Jaques Wagner, Lula government's leader in the Federal Senate;
Ciro Nogueira, former Chief of Staff of former president, Jair Bolsonaro;
Flávio Bolsonaro, son of Jair Bolsonaro and currently presidential candidate:

Flavio Bolsonaro asked Daniel Vorcaro for 134 million reais to finance a propaganda movie about his sentenced to prison father Jair.
After Vorcaro agreed and delivered 61 million reais (10.5 million euro) to Flavio, he stopped the payments. Flavio repeatedly asked for the rest of the promised money, up until the day before Vorcaro was arrested.
Banco Máxima, the predecessor to Banco Master, lost its operating license in 2016. In 2017 and 2018, President Michel Temer’s Central Bank rejected it to restart operations.
The banking license was granted shortly after Roberto Campos Neto was installed to lead the Brazilian Central Bank in late 2019 by President Jair Bolsonaro.
In 2022, Daniel Vorcaro’s brother-in-law, Fernando Vettel, was the largest campaign donor to Jair Bolsonaro:

In June 2026, Brazil supreme court found another son of Jair, Eduardo Bolsonaro, guilty of courting the Trump administration to impose sanctions on Brazil’s supreme court judges (like Alexandre de Moraes, whose wife received money from Vorcaro) and tariffs on Brazilian goods, and sentenced him to 50 months in prison.
Eduardo Bolsonaro lives in exile in the US, and hasn't spent a day in prison.
Eduardo did this to help Jair Bolsonaro’s case, who is serving 27 years "in prison" (so far: house arrest) for plotting a coup after losing the election to the elderly Lula in 2022:

Numen advised in the campaigns of several Trump allies, including the successful campaigns for Argentine President Javier Milei and President Rodrigo Paz of Bolivia.
The following scandal is even more interesting, and relevant to this topic...
On 17 August 2026, Nadia Beller, a Bolivian lawyer and Cerimedo’s ex-girlfriend, was shot outside a hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia). Far-right election meddling specialist Fernando Cerimedo was arrested for trying to assassinate his pregnant ex-girlfriend because she threatened to expose Cerimedo’s scandals.
Cerimedo was working as an official assistant to the right-wing president of Bolivia, Rodrigo Paz, with an office right next to the president.

In March 2026, Donald Trump launched the Shield of the Americas with Latin America’s right-wing leaders. At this event in Florida, Paz met with Trump and Trump's secretary of state and national security advisor Marco Rubio. When Paz sat down for talks with Rubio, they were joined by Cerimedo.
See Fernando Cerimedo (on the far right), next to Bolivia’s President Rodrigo Paz (in the center right), with Marco Rubio in the middle on the left side of the table.
Fernando Cerimedo is originally from Argentina, and has worked on the campaigns of many of the far-right politicians in Latin America.
Cerimedo publicly thanked the campaign manager for Trump in the 2020 presidential race, Brad Parscale, for giving him the technology and teaching him how to manipulate elections. Using bots, disinformation, fraud, Cerimedo oversaw campaigns of Latin America’s right-wing, pro-Israel presidents.
Cerimedo is also linked to Trump’s top advisor on Latin American affairs, Mauricio Claver-Carone.
In February 2026, Cerimedo was honored at the “Hispanic Prosperity Gala” at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, hosted by the right-wing US-based group Latino Wall Street, founded by wife and husband Gabriela Berrospi and Tony Delgado. The keynote speech at Latino Wall Street’s 2026 Hispanic Prosperity Gala was delivered by Argentine President Javier Milei.
At the Hispanic Prosperity Gala, Latino Wall Street honoured Cerimedo with the “Hispanic political consultant of the year” award. With Eduardo Bolsonaro standing next to Cerimedo when presenting Cerimedo with this award.
One of Cerimedo’s most powerful "tools" was the far-right propaganda outlet La Derecha Diario that Cerimedo co-founded with Javier Negre.
La Derecha Diario is very influential in Latin America, and had more than 600,000 followers on Twitter/X as of this August.
Berrospi (a.k.a. Gaby Wall Street) published a photo showing her and Delgado meeting with Argentine President Milei, with standing next to Milei none other than Javier Negre.

In the days before the election, Donald Trump endorsed Asfura, and pardoned the former Honduran president from Asfura's party, Juan Orlando Hernández, who was convicted for flooding the US with cocaine. The pardon of Hernandez was "aggressively pushed" by Trump's dirty trickster, Roger Stone.
In 2025, Cerimedo oversaw the presidential campaign of Honduras’ far-right President Nasry “Tito” Asfura.
A former electoral counselor in Honduras, Marlon Ochoa, published leaked recordings "proving" his country’s 2025 election was stolen. In the audio, Cerimedo can be heard discussing electoral theft.
According to Nadia Beller, Javier Milei paid Cerimedo $800,000 per month to run online disinformation operations.
Cerimedo and his associates also have deep ties to Ecuador’s right-wing dictator Daniel Noboa (a dual US citizen), Colombia’s leader Abelardo de la Espriella (also a dual US citizen), and Chile’s President José Antonio Kast.
Cerimedo was formally charged by Brazilian police of helping Jair Bolsonaro organise the coup attempt in 2022:

The following has more on the assassination attempt of Nadia Beller, who said that the attack was ordered to silence her before she could expose corruption, money laundering and illicit dealings involving Cerimedo and local government officials.
Fernando Cerimedo is also under investigation for money laundering and ties to drug trafficking:
