Likewise Nicolas Maduro, who is such a wonderful president for big oil, is effectively supported by all of the fake stories that the US and EU want to get rid of him!

Even if I succeed in showing that all of the publicity from North America and West Europe has been boosting the popularity of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela for years, most people won’t believe that this is an intentional strategy.
On the other hand, portraying the Socialist (!) Juan Guaido as a “Yankee puppet” won’t make him popular for most Venezuelans...


The New York Times has actually reported that the threats from the US “simply feed Mr. Maduro’s conspiracy theories, undermine attempts to isolate the regime, and hamper efforts to support the Venezuelan people”!
In other words – support Maduro...

For many Venezuelan officials and their families the tourist attractions in the USA — like Miami, New York and Disney World – are a popular holiday destination.
In 2017, the Trump administration announced a travel ban on Venezuela. That the travel restrictions only applied to a tiny fraction of Venezuelans, shows that this won’t really have much influence on national security.
It seems unlikely that the travel restrictions would stop making the US a popular holiday destination for the elite of Venezuela.

On 4 February 2019, it was first reported that Nicolas Maduro had written a letter asking Pope Francis to “help us on the path of dialogue “ to mediate in the political situation in Venezuela.
Maduro told Sky Tg24: “The Pope knows that I am a practitioner of faith. I pray, a Christian of prayer and action. And with this spirit I asked for help”.

The CIA has strongly denied any involvement in the 2002 coup (either staging it or helping Hugo Chavez).
Then on 24 November 2004, State Department Spokesman Adam Ereli referred to a 2002 report of the Office of Inspector General that in the run-up to the coup, the US Government had warned Chavez’s Government of Venezuela of the coming coup and an assassination threat.

What do you think of the terrorist attack in Caracas that killed the prosecutor Danilo Anderson, who was investigating opposition members for the coup against Chavez in 2002? Just when in April 2002, a coup was staged in Venezuela, in support of Hugo Chavez´s government, conveniently Irish filmmakers Kim Bartley and Donnacha Ó Briain where present.
They made it into a real propaganda piece, even insinuating CIA involvement.

The CIA also helped bring Col. Hugo Chavez to power in Venezuela in 1992 through the coup d’ètat.

Hugo Chavez told that it was suspicious that so many Latin American leaders critical of the USA were diagnosed with cancer: Argentina's Cristina Fernandez, Paraguay's Fernando and former Brazilian president Lula da Silva.
What Chavez forgot to mention is that, like himself, all of them visited the Cuba of his “friend” Fidel Castro.

According to Carlos Alberto Montaner, 19 years ago, a young Cuban biologist “David” fled from Cuba after coming from Bulgaria, to ask political asylum in Spain. David told Spanish police and Montaner that in Sofia (Bulgaria) he was trained to use technology to induce cancer in adversaries Fidel Castro wanted dead, “the Bulgarian treatment”.
The simplest way was to plant a radioactive isotope in the chair or jacket of the target. In a few months, cancer might grow with fatal results (helped by treatment by doctors).

According to some Cubans, most (if not all) of the following were murdered on the orders of Castro:
Writer Virgilio Piñera, who allegedly died of a “heart attack”;
American reporter Lisa Howard, who died of an “overdose”;
Writer Luis Rogelio (Wichy) Nogueras, who reportedly died of “AIDS”;
Jorge Más Canosa, Chair of the Cuban American National Foundation, who died in 1997 at age 58 from “lung cancer”;
Rafael del Pino Siero, who allegedly died of a “heart attack” or “hanged himself” in Castro’s jail according to another version of the story;

Raúl Chirino, who reportedly committed “suicide” while being interrogated by Castro;

Onelio Pino, found dead in his garage under mysterious circumstances;
General José Abrahantes, Castro’s ex-Interior Minister and fellow drug smuggler, who reportedly died of a “heart attack” in a Cuban jail.

Che’s daughter, Hilda Guevara, in 1995 suddenly died of “cancer” at the age of only 39.

If Chávez was murdered, he didn´t have cancer, but was poisoned and the Cuban doctors, that gave him radiation, chemotherapy and surgery no less than 4 times, were complicit to murder.

After Hugo Chávez in 1999 seized power in Venezuela he nationalized the oil industry, because it would be unfair if oil was running out of Venezuela without benefit for the population. In May 2007, he closed the door on the IMF and World Bank. In 2009, Chávez had to beg for a loan from the IMF, which obligated him to devalue the Venezuelan bolivar (causing inflation).

If Hugo Chávez was murdered this actually makes it all the more probable that they installed a big oil stooge – Nicolas Maduro.

Venezuela, one of the largest oil exporters in the world, for many years has been a country that exports more than it imports for (which should have made this country wealthy). In Venezuela there was/is a shortage of products in the supermarkets and power cuts.

Because the underpriced products are exported to other countries, the crisis can spread across South America.


The next master stroke of Maduro: selling oil and gold reserves. If Venezuela exports oil, it should already be about as rich as Saudi Arabia.

An important part in the destruction of Venezuela has been played by the Venezuelan Jew, Martín Rodil (president of the Washington based Venezuelan American Leadership Council, a group that brings "freedom and democracy" to Venezuela).

Rodil arrived in Washington in 2000 and was quickly hired by the IMF.
In 2003, he met former Israeli army commando Tal Hanan. In 2006 (?), Hanan called him to help bring Venezuela to its knees by accusing it of violating the sanctions imposed on Iran.
Rodil officially quit the IMF and went into partnership with Hanan. He was also hired as a consultant for Roger Noriega, assistant Secretary of State under George W. Bush.

Rodil had been an intern at PDVSA, and used his connections to negotiate deals with rich Venezuelans to become informer to US law enforcement to destroy Venezuela. Rodil has helped to bring more than two dozen Venezuelans to the USA. In some cases, Rodil blackmails Venezuelans (helped by the US cops) by threatening with legal trouble in the USA.
For these services, he gets a nice hourly rate or is kept on retainer by the rich Venezuelans.

In April 2016, Diosdado Cabello, one of Venezuela’s most influential figures, used his TV show to describe Rodil as a traitor to his country, who gets rich by helping corrupt Venezuelans escape to the USA, by giving secrets to the enemy.

Hundreds of millions of dollars from the Venezuelan PDVSA state oil company was funelled to Iran in violation with US sanctions.
The money was transferred using Swiss bank accounts through JP Morgan Chase, violating US laws, but this “respectable” bank is not under investigation…

Longtime Rothschild banker and Trump’s Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross first invested in Navigator Holdings in 2011. In the summer of 2012, WL Ross took control of Navigator by buying a further $110 million stake from the collapsed Lehman Brothers bank. Navigator Holdings earns millions a year transporting oil and gas for the Russian Sibur.
Putin’s son-in-law Shamalov holds a large stake in Sibur and is its deputy chairman.

In 2016, 31.5% was still held by entities in which Ross has a stake (WLR). In 2017, the WLR stake in Navigator was worth about $179 million, but it is not clear how much is (still) held by Ross personally.

Maltese journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia was murdered because she threatened to expose the links between Henley & Partners, SCL Group, British Royals, and passports for sale in Malta. There is actually a link to Venezuela.

Joseph Muscat became PM of Malta in March 2013. Within months Muscat announced that Henley and Partners would run a citizenship by investment (CBI) program for Malta, which provided citizenship in the EU. Passports would cost €650,000, with another €150,000 to be invested in government bonds for 5 years.

Chairman of Henley & Partners, Christian Kälin, introduced Muscat to the Iranian born Ali Sadr Hashemi Nejad.
In 2003, Ali Sadr won asylum in the US based on claims he'd been tortured in Iran. In 2009, he lost his staying permit.
Sadr then took a job with his father, Mohammad Sadr Hashemi Nejad (reportedly Iran's richest man). The job involved the family's Stratus Group construction business and a $475 million project in Venezuela.

In 2009, Ali Sadr obtained a St Kitts and Nevis passport by paying $250,000 to the citizenship-by-investment program that was run by Henley and Partners.

For years now Nicolas Maduro’s popularity in socialist Venezuela has been boosted by “conspiracy stories” claiming that the US government is trying to get rid of him.
Ironically Venezuela continues to be one of the biggest oil exporters in the whole world.

If “they” really want to get rid of him, I would expect many, many stories (not necessarily true) to detail the corruption of the Maduro administration. When I did an internet search with “Nicolas Maduro corrupt” I did get a large amount of stories, but none of these detail how Maduro and his cronies steal from Venezuela’s population...
In 2016 concluded, the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), gave President Maduro the Person of the Year Award for being "the individual who has done the most in the world to advance organized criminal activity and corruption" for “his corrupt and oppressive reign, so rife with mismanagement that citizens of his oil-rich nation are literally starving and begging for medicines", that Maduro and his family steal millions of dollars from government coffers, Maduro administration overruled the legislative branch, repressed citizen protests and had relatives involved in drug trafficking.
That sounds promising, but I still don’t see any details being exposed, and without it, Maduro can keep on bombarding Venezuela with message that it’s all a Western imperialist “conspiracy” against him!

Almost 3 months before Geoffrey Berman was forced to step down as U.S. attorney by Bill Barr...

On 26 March 2020, U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York Geoffrey Berman, standing alongside Attorney General William Barr, announced narco-terrorism and cocaine trafficking charges against the president of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro:

Maduro and the other defendants expressly intended to flood the United States with cocaine in order to undermine the health and well-being of our nation. Maduro very deliberatively used cocaine as a weapon.

Prosecutors allege that Maduro and other Venezuelan officials, including Defence Minister Vladimir Padrino and Chief Supreme Court Justice Maikel Moreno, "participated in a corrupt and violent narco-terrorism conspiracy" as leaders of the Venezuelan "Cartel of The Suns".
Bizarrely they now suddenly accuse Maduro and his top aides of running a "narco-terrorism partnership with the FARC for the past 20 years". They supposedly also worked with Colombia's Revolutionary Armed Forces group, FARC, called “a terrorist organization” by the U.S.
According to Bill Barr, FARC had "obtained the support of the Maduro regime, who is allowing them to use Venezuela as a safe haven from which they can continue to conduct their cocaine trafficking".

The US charged more than a dozen top Venezuelan officials.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that the State Department would offer cash rewards of $15 million for information on Maduro, and up to $10 million for information on of some of his allies: former military intelligence chief Hugo Cavajal, retired general Cliver Alcala, former vice president Tareck El Aissami and head of the Constituent Assembly Diosdado Cabello.

Sitting leaders of “independent” states are legally immune from prosecution under US law and international norms. But since in January 2019 the US recognised the much ridiculed Juan Guaido as the legitimate president of Venezuela (followed by another 60 countries), they can simply brush that aside.

Without “evidence”, and I’m afraid that I don’t see anything to substantiate these allegations, this could make Maduro even more popular in Venezuela (if he was really popular they wouldn’t need to support him with this “adverse publicity”)...
Even the following story is overlooked by most of our wonderful media, and if the opposition to Maduro was real, I would expect that this would be made into another media hysteria...


The best story I found on the “corruption” of the Maduro administration is that on 10 November 2015, 2 nephews of Maduro's wife Cilia Flores, Efraín Antonio Campos Flores and Francisco Flores de Freites, were arrested by the US Drug Enforcement Administration in Port-au-Prince, Haiti after trying to transport 800 kilograms of cocaine into the USA.
They had been flown to Port-au-Prince by 2 Venezuelan military personnel and 2 presidential honour guards.

One informant claimed that the 2 nephews of Cilia Maduro would often fly out of Terminal 4 of Simon Bolivar Airport, a terminal reserved for President Maduro.
The profits were allegedly used to "help their family stay in power".

On 18 November 2016, the Flores nephews were found guilty.

The drug trafficking operation was probably much larger, but 2 informants that witnessed the drug trafficking nephews were murdered shortly before and after the arrest.
According to drug “expert” Bruce Bagley:

The nephews are just the tip of the iceberg ... Corruption is rampant in power circles in Venezuela. This case suggests a culture that drug trafficking is routine and daily fare for someone with contacts in the presidential palace. With their connections, they felt they would skate through ... They made a mistake because when the DEA heard their names they targeted them.

Two weeks before the nephews were arrested in November 2015, the Venezuelan "Hamudi", who introduced the nephews to “CW-1”, was murdered by FARC suppliers.

The Cisneros became one of Venezuela's most powerful families (with strong ties in Communist Cuba).
In 1985, Diego’s son, Gustavo Cisneros, was vice-president of the Venezuelan Chapter of the Knights of the Sovereign Order of Malta and on the International Advisory Board of Rockefeller’s Chase Manhattan Bank.

In 1984, it was reported that Oswaldo Cisneros Fajardo (a member of one of Venezuela's most powerful families, the Cisneros) was up to its neck in dope-money laundering in Florida. Oswaldo Cisneros Fajardo was working with the World Finance Corporation (according to the story an international money Laundromat). The story also described how WFC’s arms-for-drugs pipeline supported the Castro government.

In 1984, Oswaldo Cisneros visited Cuba in a Pepsi company plane and met dictator Fidel Castro.
Oswaldo’s wife was the Cuban Ella Fontanals de Cisneros, whose brother, Jose Fontanals Perez, was economic adviser to Fidel Castro and was a director of the Banco Nacional de Cuba in Havana.

In one of those strange “coincidences” none other than Gustavo Alfredo Jiménez de Cisneros Rendiles was a friend and campaign contributor of Hugo Chávez.
They supposedly became enemies after Cisneros was involved in the 2002 Venezuelan coup d'état attempt that was staged to make Chávez more popular.

Gustavo Cisneros was also a director of Barrick Gold Corporation (once again!) and advisor to the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies and Chase Manhattan Bank.

Two decades ago, 3 engineers, led by Antonio Mugica, founded the new election technology firm Smartmatic in Venezuela.
After the 2000 US election, which made George W. Bush US president, they incorporated in Delaware (in 2000) with funds from Jorge Massa Dustou.
Dustou was married to none other than the sister of media mogul billionaire Gustavo Cisneros.

After the 2004 Venezuela recall election by Venezuela’s CNE election authority, SBC Consortium - Smartmatic (51%), Bitza software (2%), and state telecommunications organization CANTV (47%) - was formed and won the bid to run the referendum counting process.
Smartmatic (in their first voter rigging endeavour) was awarded $128 million to successfully falsify the referendum for Hugo Chavez, who was behind 40% to 60% in the polls, but “miraculously” won with 52%-48%.

The Smartmatic holding company SGO Corporation Limited, is chaired by Mugica and his Venezuelan cofounder, Roger Piñate, also sits on the London board.
Another board member of SGO is DLA Piper global CEO Sir Nigel Knowles. In another one of those strange coincidences the husband to Kamala Harris, Douglas C. Emhoff, is a partner at DLA Piper.

The Smartmatic US chairman is Peter Neffenger, who was just appointed to Joe Biden’s Transition Team. Neffenger was previously TSA head in the Obama Administration.
Also on the USA Smartmatic board is Gracia Hillman, who was Chairman of the US Election Assistance Commission from 2003 to 2010 under Bush Jr. and Obama.

In 2010, Smartmatic-controlled Sequoia Voting Systems, aka SVS Inc., was acquired by the Canadian Dominion Voting Systems. To make this is into an all-American company, it was owned by NY based Staple Street Capital. Several board members of Staple Street came from the Bush-affiliated private equity giant, Carlyle Group Partners.
William Kennard, former Managing Director of the Carlyle Group, and former EU Ambassador under Obama and FCC chairman under Clinton.
Hootan Yaghoobzadeh and Stephen D. Owens also have past ties to the Carlyle Group.

Gustavo Lamoine came from a wealthy family, and was linked to the Venezuelan political police (DISIP) during the Pérez and Jaime Lusinchi governments.

Quintana handled special accounts of government officials in Banco Latino. Quintana reportedly worked with several bankers to overthrow Caldera, a plot that would include Chavez and the MBR-200.

One of the ‘categories’ the Nobel peace prize is awarded to, is the supposed brave politicians standing up to evil authoritarian governments. With the Nobel prize as corrupt as the Norwegian royals that control it, these politicians getting awarded are probably even more corrupt than the average politician.
Of course no Nobel prize will ever be awarded to the many victims of the dictatorial royals…

On 10 October, Maria Corina Machado was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize "for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy".
Machado dedicated the prize to the "suffering people of Venezuela" and "President Trump for his decisive support of our cause".

Machado is a strange choice for a number of reasons. For one she is so unknown that there weren’t many English language (or Dutch) articles about her before she was pushed into the spotlight by the Nobel committee.
Usually these Nobel peace prize winners have been in prison and house arrest for years, but in Maria Machado’s case we get a strange tale that is contradicted by the facts…

On 1 August 2024, Machado published a letter in the Wall Street Journal claiming that she had gone into hiding, "fearing for my life, my freedom, and that of my fellow countrymen from the dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro". Since then she continued to speak at mass protests and (other) political rallies!
On 9 January 2025 for example, Machado spoke at a rally in Caracas and government forces supposedly tried to arrest her…

Since 10 October, Maria Machado has repeatedly bragged about making phone calls.
If somebody is hiding at a secret location, using the phone is arguably the dumbest thing you could do. What’s next?!? Will they sell stories to the gullible masses that genius assassins will shoot politicians while carrying the surveillance equipment called mobile phone?!?

As if using the phone isn’t bad enough, Machado even gave details on some of these phone calls, which would make it even easier to trace these calls!

The Machado-founded Súmate led a petition drive for the failed 2004 Venezuelan recall referendum. After the referendum, members of Súmate including Machado, were charged with treason and conspiracy, but for some reason the trial was suspended indefinitely, effectively dismissing it.

Súmate received funds from National Endowment for Democracy (the CIA-front that’s specialised in ‘colour revolutions’).

Even if I succeed in showing that all of the publicity from North America and West Europe has been boosting the popularity of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela for years, most people won’t believe that this is an intentional strategy.
On the other hand, portraying the Socialist (!) Juan Guaido as a “Yankee puppet” won’t make him popular for most Venezuelans...

In 2008, Venezuela's Comptroller's Office disqualified López from holding public office for 6 years, following allegations of nepotism and misappropriation of funds.

On 18 February 2014, during the crisis in Venezuela, Leopoldo López was charged with arson and conspiracy after he had called for protests. In September 2015, López was found guilty of public incitement to violence through “subliminal messages” and criminal association, and was sentenced to 13 years and 9 months in prison.
