Drone whistleblower Daniel Hale has been sentenced to 45 months in prison for exposing US war crimes using drones.
In 2015, Hale provided journalist Jeremy Scahill with secret military documents and slides that exposed shocking details about the U.S. drone program that formed the basis of “The Drone Papers”, published on 15 October 2015, by The Intercept.

Many of the suspected "terrorists" were innocent civilians that were often targeted based on cell phone tracking.
From January 2012 to February 2013, nearly 90% of those killed by drone strikes were not the intended target. Even though they were innocent they were often classified as “enemies killed in action”.

After president George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump each increased the amount of people murdered by drones of his predecessor.
During his first 2 years as president alone, Trump launched more drone strikes (2,243), than Obama’s 8 years presidency (1,878).

In March, Biden publicly claimed a comprehensive review of Trump’s relaxed rules for drone strikes, to possibly make the rules on drones a little more strict.
On 20 July 2021, the US conducted a drone strike against Shabab “militants” in Somalia even though they didn’t meet the new rules. However these rules weren't deemed applicable, because the Africa Command has authority to carry out strikes in support of allied as “collective self-defense”.

While Biden is withdrawing U.S. troops from Afghanistan, he will continue to launch airstrikes there (killing many innocent civilians): https://www.globalresearch.ca/drone-whi ... es/5751437

Donald Trump's long-time friend Thomas Barrack, who chaired former President Donald's 2017 inauguration fund, was arrested in California and charged with not disclosing, illegally lobbying for the United Arab Emirates
Barrack has been released on a $250 million bail and has pleaded not guilty.

Barrack is charged with conspiracy, obstruction of justice and making false statements during a June 2019 interview with federal agents.

Isn't it strange how most American media ignore the relevance of the Qatar blockade, but Al Jazeera finds it important?
Prosecutors said that Barrack provided UAE officials with information about how senior US officials viewed the blockade against Qatar started mid-2017 by a group including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and Bahrain: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/7/2 ... bying-case

Thomas Barrack is also a billionaire and founder and former CEO of the private equity firm Colony Capital. Matthew Grimes, who worked at Colony Capital, was charged along with Barrack.
Colony worked closely with funds in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, raising at least $1.5 billion from the UAE and Saudi Arabia since Trump won the 2016 Republican nomination. Barrack’s firm also got money from the Abraaj Group, a UAE private equity firm that collapsed and was fined a whopping $314.6 million for misconduct in 2019.

Prosecutors accuse Barrack of providing foreign government officials with “sensitive non-public information about developments within the Administration, including information about the positions of multiple senior United States government officials with respect to the Qatari blockade conducted by the UAE and other Middle Eastern countries”.

In 2016 during the election campaign, Barrack with Trump’s campaign chairman Paul Manafort set up the super PAC "Rebuilding America Now", which spent $21 million to support Trump. The PAC was accused of illegally laundering foreign money into the US to support Trump and illegal communication with the Trump campaign using firewalls: https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2021/0 ... legations/

I had previously posted about the Qatar blockade and the financing of Kushner's NYC 666 Fifth Avenue, which seems to be the most interesting angle in this context (missed by just about all of our wonderful media).
Tom Barrack told the Washington Post that he tried to use his Qatar connection to help Kushner with 666 Fifth Avenue. “Barrack said he told the former prime minister of Qatar to consider investing in the Kushner Cos. property,” according to the Post.

The Qataris reportedly believe the blockade may be linked to their rejection of funding for 666 Fifth Avenue.
(...)
Tillerson reportedly later came to believe concluded that Trump’s White House remarks were written by Yousef al-Otaiba, UAE ambassador to the U.S., and passed to the President by Jared Kushner.

China has, now that he's out as Secretary of Commerce, has placed Trump's handler Wilbur Ross on its sanction list: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-57950720

It isn't clear how this will affect the Chinese business interests of Wilbur, at least the media don't present a clue on how these sanctions should work...

Wilbur Ross owns a major stake in Navigator Holdings with extensive dealings in China: viewtopic.php?p=4872#p4872

Wilbur Ross also owns a substantial stake in Diamond S Shipping, whose ships sail under Chinese flags, and is tied to a Chinese investment fund: viewtopic.php?p=6345#p6345

In September 2017, Ross held a stake in the Luxembourg-based International Automotive Components Group, that closed a new joint venture with the China state-owned Shanghai Shenda: viewtopic.php?p=5984#p5984

Chevron pollution in Ecuador protected by US courts

Post by Firestarter »

Have you heard the story of the American lawyer Steven Donziger that was disbarred and sentenced to house arrest for actually winning a $9.5 billion lawsuit against Chevron for polluting Ecuador?
Even though this story has more drama than the average blockbuster movie it didn't quite get the media attention it deserved (including from most of the so-called "alternative" media).

In 2011, the Ecuadorian court ordered Chevron to pay indigenous plaintiffs $9.5 billion for causing serious harm to their health by illegally dumping 16 billion gallons of deadly oil waste.
Chevron moved all its assets out of Ecuador so it wouldn't have to pay...
Steven Donziger, who won the case probably for a share of the profits, then tried to have the billions confiscated from Chevron in Argentina, Brazil and Canada, but as the courts in these so-called "democratic" countries protect the crimes by the big corporations they simply swept Donziger's petitions aside.
Chevron hasn't paid a cent.

Then things got really, really ugly...
Chevron simply bribed the former Ecuadorean judge Alberto Guerra. Based on Guerra's lies, in 2011, Chevron filed a civil RICO (racketeering) lawsuit against Donziger in New York City, accusing him of bribing an Ecuadorean judge, ghostwriting the damages judgment, and "fixing" scientific studies, with $500,000.
In 2013, Chevron moved Guerra to the US from Ecuador, all expenses paid with a monthly salary of $12,000 for "expenses".

In 2015, Guerra testified to an international tribunal that he had lied and changed his story multiple times in the RICO trial to frame Donzinger. Guerra admitted that Donziger had not bribed him, and that large parts of Guerra's testimony in the RICO case were completely bogus.
You can understand (or not?) that the corrupt courts simply swept aside Guerra admitting to lying in a court of law to frame Donzinger, so in 2018, the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague (home of corruption, money laundering and fraud) ruled that the $9.5 billion judgment in Ecuador was marked by fraud and corruption and "should not be recognised or enforced by the courts of other States".

So in 2019, Judge Lewis Kaplan asked the Southern District Court of New York to criminally prosecute Donzinger after he had been found guilty in the RICO case (based on the lies in court by Alberto Guerra!).
After the Southern District Court of New York declined, in a move "virtually unprecedented", Kaplan appointed the private law firm Seward & Kissel, which had Chevron as a client.
In other words: Chevron's lawyers were now prosecuting Steven Donziger for winning the $9.5 billion lawsuit against Chevron!

In another "unprecedented" move, Donziger has been placed under house arrest since August 2019 awaiting trial on charges of criminal contempt of court, after he dared to appeal against Kaplan's RICO judgement.
On 26 July 2021, US district judge Loretta Preska found Donziger guilty on 6 contempt charges, he could now be sentenced to 6 months in jail (Donziger's request for a trial by a jury of peers was denied for some reason): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Donziger

I had previously posted about the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Geoffrey Berman, who was fired (technically forced to resign) by Trump in 2020, after he refused to prosecute Donziger: viewtopic.php?p=69097#p69097

Judge Lewis Kaplan, who presided over the RICO case against Steven Donziger, had investments in funds with Chevron holdings, and suggested to Chevron to file a racketeering suit against Donziger.
Kaplan then appointed Chevron's law firm to act as the "public" prosecutor of Donziger. Law firm Seward & Kissel not only got paid by Chevron, but also received $464,000 from the taxpayer for this "public" work (in 2019 and 2020 alone, and still counting).

Kaplan then selected Judge Preska to sentence Donziger. Preska is a member of the pro-corporate Federalist Society, to which Chevron is a major donor: https://www.makechevroncleanup.com/pres ... isdemeanor

It's amazing with all these horrible liberal media being so mean against poor Donald, all of his scandals never seem to get the media attention they deserve...

Firestarter wrote: Wed Jun 05, 2019 4:51 pmThe Mar-a-Lago troika has made a nice profit from their control over VA.
Starting in February 2017, Perlmutter negotiated with executives at Johnson & Johnson, on a public awareness campaign about veteran suicide.
An "investigation" by House Democrats concluded that the Mar-a-Lago Trio illegally influenced the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Our joint investigation found that Ike Perlmutter, Marc Sherman, and Dr. Bruce Moskowitz, bolstered by their connection to President Trump's private Mar-a-Lago club, violated the law and sought to exert improper influence over government officials to further their own personal interests.
.
A consultant working for Moskowitz, Terry Fadem, in a June 2017 email explained that:
Patient data is, in my opinion, the most valuable assets the VA has. It can be leveraged into hundreds of millions in revenue.
.
The "revenue" would come from selling the personal data to major companies. Moskowitz told then-VA Secretary David Shulkin that he had discussed the scheme with Johnson & Johnson, CVS and Apple.
Fadem won't tell as he died in 2019.

Reportedly Ivanka and Jared Kushner were completely informed on the corrupt dealings of the troika: https://www.propublica.org/article/trum ... al-records

A jury found Rudy Giuliani's associate Lev Parnas guilty of breaking campaign finance laws.
Parnas and his associate Igor Fruman illegally funneled at least $156,000 in political donations from Russian businessman Andrey Muraviev.
Parnas also illegally made a $325,000 contribution to a pro-Trump super PAC through a shell company from another source.
Parnas and Fruman also concealed that they were the true source of a donation in support of then-President Donald.

Igor Fruman already pleaded guilty in September. He is scheduled to be sentenced next 21 January.
Another associate of Giuliani and Parnas, David Correia, plead guilty to defrauding investors in a fraud where Giuliani was paid a $500,000 consulting fee. Correia has already been sentenced to a year in prison.

Co-defendant Andrey Kukushkin was found guilty, together with Parnas, for facilitating the campaign donations paid for with his Russian boss's money (Muraviev).
Parnas can be sentenced to a maximum 45 years in prison and Kukushkin 15 years.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis also received part of the $1 million that Parnas and Fruman received from Muraviev in campaign donations.

Ron Paul, Trump, and illegal donations

Post by Firestarter »

In September, 2 corrupt Republican operatives - Jesse Benton and Roy Douglas "Doug" Wead - were charged with soliciting a campaign donation from a Russian national for Donald Trump's 2016 election campaign in a straw-donor scheme.
While everybody points the finger at Trump (obviously Russiagate wasn't completely fake), these operatives weren't only associated with Donald, but also to Elaine Chao's husband Mitch McConnell and even more closely to former presidential candidate Ron Paul and his son Rand Paul.

Jesse Benton previously worked on the campaigns for former congressman Ron Paul and his son Senator Rand Paul as well as running the 2014 reelection campaign of Mitch McConnell. Benton was also at one time the chief strategist for the pro-Trump Great America PAC.
In May 2016, Benton was convicted to probation for illegally bribing Iowa state senator Kent Sorenson with $73,000 to endorse Ron Paul's 2012 presidential campaign. In December 2020, Benton was pardoned by president Trump, on the request of Rand Paul.
And apparently a couple of months later was doing illegal business with this Russian...

Doug Wead worked in the George H.W. Bush White House and authored the Trump-propanda book "Inside Trump's White House: The Real Story of His Presidency".
Wead hired former Trump lawyers Jay Sekulow and Jane Raskin to defend him: https://www.motherjones.com/politics/20 ... ndictment/
(https://archive.md/y5z0f)

The unnamed “Foreign National 1” in the indictment is apparently Roman Vasilenko, the Russian "businesman" (read intelligence asset) who wired $100,000 to Benton, who paid $25,000 to a Trump Super PAC for the picture.
See Donald and Vasilenko in September 2016...
Image

In late August 2016, Vasilenko made a deal with Kremlin top propagandist Vladimir Soloviev.
Just 2 weeks later, Vasilenko contacted Trump's team that he wanted to meet Donald and have his picture taken with him: https://archive.md/8uB01

Jesse Benton was caught in a sting operation by the British newspaper The Telegraph, also in 2016 (I'm glad that they don't expose the crimes by the British royals!).
Benton was negotiating with reporters posing as Chinese nationals making an illegal a $2 million campaign donation to Donald Trump.
Benton explained how he could make this donation seem legit.

Jesse Benton is actually married to Ron Paul’s granddaughter Valori Pyeatt, whom he met on Ron Paul’s 2008 presidential campaign: https://archive.md/QuFh1

To finish this expose on Ron Paul...
Ron Paul’s father was a Freemason and Ron Paul himself has paid respect to the organisation and attended its meetings. Ron Paul is also an unofficial member of the John Birch Society.
Ron Paul’s wife, Carol, is a member of the Velasco Order of the Eastern Star in the Freeport area lodge. Ron and Carol Paul’s daughters, Lori and Joy, are Rainbow girls, associated with Freemasonry.

This blog doesn't really provide evidence for these claims, but that I found it posted on the Ronpaulforums, without being "debunked" makes me think that it's true.

The following picture shows Ron Paul on TV in 2008 using the Tubalcain grip handshake (a.k.a. Pass Grip of a Master Mason).
