It connects the dots between the Dutch royals, WW II, plundering of the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia), and Gladio in the Netherlands.
Around 1920, the Dutch Pieter Menten first relocated to Poland and then to the oil-rich south of the Ukraine, where he became the agent for Dutch royal Shell chairman Henry Deterding. Menten was financed by the German bankers Hermann Josef Abs and Fritz Mannheimer with some 1.5 million guilders to finance Ukrainian "revolutionairies".
In 1937, during a skying holiday the newly wed Princess Juliana (later queen) and Prince Bernhard met Deterding's agent Pieter Menten.
In 1937, Abwehr chief Wilhelm Canaris relocated former Abwehr head of counter-intelligence, and MI6 collaborator, Richard Protze in Wassenaar as a liason with Prince Bernhard.
In December 1976, the attorney L. Simons was called by Loek van der Gaag (who wrongly thought he was speaking to the attorney of Menten), who told him that he was planning to bust the convicted war criminal Menten out of jail. Simons informed the cops about this plan. On 2 January 1977, Van der Gaag drowned in a river in Leiden (silenced forever).
One of the "friends" that would help bust Menten out of jail was one Paardekooper, who just happened to be the former director of the Prince Bernhard connected Leiden Army Museum, where his best friend, Kurt Görlitz, was conservator.
Kurt Görlitz had grown up in the Dutch East Indies, where he met Achmed Sukarno, who later became the first president of Indonesia.
In 1976, Slobodan Mitric (a.k.a. Karate Bob) sent letters from prison to the CIA, through the World Anti-Communist League (WACL), to apply for a job. In one of those strange coincidences, Kurt Görlitz (together with one William Küchler) visited Mitric and returned the letters to him. They assigned him to do some Gladio-activities in the Netherlands for which he got special leave!
Görlitz boasted to Mitric that he had vistied the CIA headquarters in Langley and knew former CIA director Alan Dulles personally.
Mitric was also in frequent contact with Hans Teengs Gerritsen, Prince Bernhard's long-time friend, who according to Mitric had been murdered in 1990, in a so-called a "heart attack".
In prison, Slobodan Mitric also became acquinted with Frans de Wit (a.k.a. Pappa Blanca) who told him about a deal that involved a stolen batch of uranium (it isn't clear to me if there was actual uranium) that would be sold by Hassan Zubaidi. Mitric was in contact about this deal with none other than Dutch PM in the 1980s, Ruud Lubbers (also through government official Mansfeld, a.k.a. Mansfield). Ultimately there was no uranium deal (with Iran?)...
Hassan Zubaidi had been involved in sabotaging the attempts in 1980 by the Carter administration to get the American hostages released, for which he was rewarded with lucrative imports and exports to/from the embargoed Iran of Ayatollah Khomeini. Zubaidi was also in business with Monzer al-Kassar that sold arms to Iran for Iran-Contra terrorist Oliver North.
Hassan Zubaidi also financed the PLO, and worked with Rifaat al-Assad, brother of the former Syrian president: (in Dutch) https://www.stelling.nl/kleintje/dossie ... n-de-prins

The Röell family has been very close to the Dutch royals ever since Queen Emma effectively deposed the (original) Orange-Nassaus, as the father of Queen Wilhelmina couldn't have been King Willem III in his 60s, as he was already infertile.Firestarter wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 8:14 pmSee our beloved King surrounded by his personal assistants (kamerheren), with sitting left from Willem-Alexander: baron C.O.A. With some republican "conspiracy theorists" arguing that Wilhelmina's real dad was Baron Joan Roëll, who later became Dutch PM for Queen and regent Emma...
Prince Bernhard's secretary was one lord Willem Gerard Röell, who stayed in the Netherlands after the German invasion, while the Dutch royal had "escaped" to the British Empire. While Röell continued radio contact with Bernhard.
Willem's wife, baroness Catharina Röell, went to Canada as the assistant of Juliana (later Queen, wife of Bernhard).
In another one of those strange coincidences, the leader of the Dutch Nazi party NSB, Rost van Tonningen, was the brother-in-law of Dolf that had been at university in Wageningen with Willem Röell.
Rost van Tonningen personally intervened to save Willem Röell from execution, after he was arrested in March 1942.
After he was arrested again, on 29 August 1942 Willem Röell was executed.
It has been reported that Bernhard could have saved his secretary. But it could also be that Willem Röell was executed on the orders of Bernhard: (in Dutch) https://gerard1945.wordpress.com/2015/1 ... -bernhard/
In 1798-1805, Rutger Jan Schimmelpenninck was ambassador in France, with a short intermission in England. He became an established diplomat om the Paris salons surrounding Napoleon Bonaparte, who in 1805 appointed hom president of the Batavian Republic.
Before he became French ambassador, Rutger Jan Schimmelpenninck was involved in the "resistance" against his family friend stadthouder Willem V, who after the "revolution" in 1795 declared the Batavian Republic: (in Dutch) https://geschiedenis-winkel.nl/p/presid ... nederland/
