Syria

False Flag -- A horrific, staged event, blamed on a political enemy and used as a pretext to start a war or enact draconian laws in the name of national security.

Washington Has Crossed Russia’s Red Line

Paul Craig Roberts

April 7, 2017 |
Washington’s military attack on Syria is unambigiously a war crime. It occurred without any UN authorization or even the fake cover of a “coalition of the willing.” Washington’s attack on Syria occurred in advance of an investigation of the alleged event that Washington is trying to use as its justification. Indeed, Washington’s story of Syrian use of chemical weapons is totally implausible. All chemical weapons were removed from Syria by Russia and turned over to the US and its European allies. Syria has no such weapons and has no reason to use them and every reason not to. Moreover, it is none of Washington’s business whatsoever what weapons Syria uses against terrorist forces seeking to overthrow the Syrian government.

Governments in Europe, Canada, Australia, and Japan have not condemned this war crime. Indeed, the UK Foreign Minister has declared the UK’s support. Thus does the West reveal once again its hypocrisy.

As Russia has made clear, the alleged chemical weapons attack has every hallmark of a Washington orchestrated event in order to launch a US military attack on Syria. As the Russian Defense Ministry explained, the US air attack had to have been planned in advance of the alleged chemical weapon event. The US air strike on Syria requires advanced planning, but followed immediately the event used as the excuse:
http://eng.mil.ru/en/news_page/country/ ... 8%40egNews

In other words, it was an orchestrated event.

Gilbert Doctorow says that the idiot Americans drowning in their own hubris have now crossed a Russian red line with consquences to follow.
http://russia-insider.com/en/us-missile ... on/ri19479

Insane Washington is driving the world to thermo-nuclear war. And where are the protests?

According to former U.S. Representative Ron Paul it’s highly unlikely that President Bashir al Assad is behind the recent gas attack in Syria that are being used to justify bombing Syria: https://www.rawstory.com/2017/04/ron-pa ... -in-syria/

Here’s the interview with Ron Paul: https://youtu.be/LULzvg1gA5U

The UK/US financed White Helmets is one of the “reliable” sources that Assad´s regime is behind the gas attack. Here’s a story on the “humanitarian” work of the White Helmets: http://21stcenturywire.com/2016/09/30/w ... questions/

And please don’t think that Putin’s Russia will make this world a better place.
Here's an overview of the connections between the Rothschild crime syndicate and the Russian elite. The same powers that rule over Europe and the USA, rule supreme in Russia: http://www.dzig.de/sites/default/files/ ... feller.htm

Possibly Russia will help bombing Syria while the US army continues their bombing campaign.
It’s the Syrian people that suffer while the taxpayers pay for the bombs.
I´ve never been able to understand the “bombs for peace/democracy/freedom” mantra.

No, definitely not. I just keep looking for the elites' endgame, i.e. to "alter life in the United States that it can be comfortably merged with the Soviet Union." (see this post)

This article seems pretty thorough re. the back story:

North Korea uses Syria as excuse to bolster its defenses, planning "big event"
http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/04/09 ... ified.html

Trumps new focus is North Korea. (So much for no longer being world police)

Israel now purportedly bombing Syria. (read above link about plan for "Greater Israel" which includes Syria)
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/3321817/i ... positions/

U.S citizens are to leave Gaza. LINK (Who will attack? Iran? Russia?)

Sounds like WW3 to me...

The trouble they'll go to to distract from the economic collapse...

But I'm sure we'll all be one big happy family by then...

There are some people that believe that the bombing of Syria by the US army is good.
There are others that know that the bombing by the US army is evil, but believe that Russian bombs are good.
After reading the article in your Original Post (which appeared pro-Russian to me) I just didn't know, but I'm glad I didn't need to worry.

BOMBS TO CREATE FAMINE
When bombs are thrown on civilians by the US army this is not a war crime but an unfortunate accident. When bombs are thrown on food and water supply, this is not a war crime, but this also results in many dead civilians.
In 2016 there were stories about the starvation of Aleppo. I guess that according to the official story - not ISIS is to blame, but Assad’s regime.
In 2016 alone the US army dropped a whopping 26,171 bombs; that’s more than 500 bombs a week (3 bombs every hour): https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... ama-legacy
The Russian army has helped to cover Syria with bombs since September 2015.
Of course the state media can always explain that I’m wrong to think that bombing food and water by the US and Russian army and the sanctions against Syria are the main reason for the human catastrophe in Syria: http://www.voanews.com/a/syria-food-sho ... 96722.html

WHITE HELMETS/SOHR
There are a total of 2 sources that have accused the Syrian government of the Sarin gas attack: the white helmets and SOHR.
That’s the White Helmets that are financed from the US/UK.
Then there’s the undisputed Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) of Rami Abdulrahman. Abdulrahman is actually based in London, who hasn’t been in Syria for more than 15 years, and is probably a one man organisation: http://anonhq.com/truth-behind-oft-quot ... an-rights/

FALSE FLAG ATTACK
Clearly we have to believe that the White helmets are completely insane; in the following picture we can see White helmets treating some child victims of the Sarin gas. One of them actually touches a child without hand gloves, while in the background we can see somebody without a gas mask. Sarin is highly toxic and leads to immediate health problems for idiots that act like this.
The only conclusion can be that these children weren’t gassed with Sarin: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-0 ... t-question
Image

Former British Ambassador to Syria, Peter Ford, has said that it’s improbable that Assad’s regime or the Russians are behind the chemical attack: https://youtu.be/pS6Oa_aDS6E
Former US representative Ron Paul has also explained that it’s unlikely that this gas attack is the work of the Syrian government.

GAS ATTACK ONE DAY BEFORE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
The reported Sarin gas attack of last April 4, was one day before the International conference on Syria in Brussels, Belgium: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-midea ... SKBN176001
Decide for yourself...
Do we believe that President Assad is a complete imbecile that bombs his own people, one day before this conference?
Or is it more probable that the UK/US arranged a false flag attack, blame it on Assad, to make the most of the conference to condemn Assad?

GAS PIPELINE
According to the following article 2 gas pipelines are planned to go through Syria; either coming from Iran or Qatar.
Supposedly one of these is backed by Russia and the other by the USA: http://www.news.com.au/world/middle-eas ... b63a9afb74
Of course in reality only one of these is really planned and the other is a decoy, as both Washington and Russia take their orders from London.

GOLAN HEIGHTS – WATER, OIL, AFEK
The Golan Heights that Israel has taken from Syria since 1981 are “strategically” important; like Israel has admitted (Israel admits this is the reason to keep it occupied).
There is a large amount of water there, while Israel (like Syria) has problems getting enough water: http://www.globalresearch.ca/the-israel ... il/5521207

One of the reasons to discredit Assad’s regime is to squash criticism of the annexation of the Golan Heights by Israel.
There is also a lot of oil in the Golan Heights.

For some years now the company Afek Oil and Gas (a subsidiary of New Jersey-based Genie Energy Ltd.) is exploring the possibilities for oil drilling in the Golan Heights.
Maybe you’ve never of Afek, but some of the investors are well-known. Names on the Strategic Advisory Board (SAB) include: Baron Jacob Rothschild, Dick Cheney, Rupert Murdoch, and James Woolsey: http://www.mintpressnews.com/what-roths ... ia/209542/
The video about this that I posted on 14 April, doesn't show anymore, here's another one about this topic.

I read a lot of foreign propaganda, I mean news. I've found that what Russian news says about themselves is usually false, but what they say about the U.S. is usually more accurate than U.S. news. Even a blind pig finds an acorn once in a while.

I find it amusing that Fake News Checker calls the New York Times article about Assad's accusation of the use of child actors Fake News. Which part is fake? Is the faking fake? Or the fake of faking fake?

Here are Top ten reasons to doubt official story on Assad poison-gas attack by Jon Rappoport

https://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2017 ... as-attack/
The sarin-gas attack story prompted the US missile strike on a Syrian runway. Here are the top ten reasons for doubting that story, and instead calling it a convenient pretext:

ONE: Photos show rescue workers treating/decontaminating people injured or killed in the gas attack. The workers aren’t wearing gloves or protective gear. Only the clueless or crazy would expose themselves to sarin residue, which can be fatal.

TWO: MIT professor Thomas Postol told RT, “I believe it can be shown, without doubt, that the [US intelligence] document does not provide any evidence whatsoever that the US government has concrete knowledge that the government of Syria was the source of the chemical attack in Khan Shaykhun…Any competent analyst would have had questions about whether the debris in the crater was staged or real. No competent analyst would miss the fact that the alleged sarin canister was forcefully crushed from above, rather than exploded by a munition within it.” How would a canister purportedly dropped from an Assad-ordered plane incur “crushing from above?”

THREE: Why would President Assad, supported by Russia, scoring victory after victory against ISIS, moving closer to peace negotiations, suddenly risk all his gains by dropping sarin gas on his own people?

FOUR: In an interview with Scott Horton, ex-CIA officer Philip Giraldi states that his intelligence and military sources indicate Assad didn’t attack his own people with poison gas.

FIVE: Ex-CIA officer Ray McGovern states that his military sources report an Assad air strike did hit a chemical plant, and the fallout killed people, but the attack was not planned for that purpose. There was no knowledge the chemicals were lethal.

SIX: At consortiumnews.com, journalist Robert Parry writes, “There is a dark mystery behind the White House-released photo showing President Trump and more than a dozen advisers meeting at his estate in Mar-a-Lago after his decision to strike Syria with Tomahawk missiles: Where are CIA Director Mike Pompeo and other top intelligence officials?”
“Before the photo was released on Friday, a source told me that Pompeo had personally briefed Trump on April 6 about the CIA’s belief that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was likely not responsible for the lethal poison-gas incident in northern Syria two days earlier — and thus Pompeo was excluded from the larger meeting as Trump reached a contrary decision.”

“After the attack, Secretary of State Tillerson, who is not an institutional intelligence official and has little experience with the subtleties of intelligence, was the one to claim that the U.S. intelligence community assessed with a ‘high degree of confidence’ that the Syrian government had dropped a poison gas bomb on civilians in Idlib province.”

“While Tillerson’s comment meshed with Official Washington’s hastily formed groupthink of Assad’s guilt, it is hard to believe that CIA analysts would have settled on such a firm conclusion so quickly, especially given the remote location of the incident and the fact that the initial information was coming from pro-rebel (or Al Qaeda) sources.”

“Thus, a serious question arises whether President Trump did receive that ‘high degree of confidence’ assessment from the intelligence community or whether he shunted Pompeo aside to eliminate an obstacle to his desire to launch the April 6 rocket attack.”

SEVEN: As soon as the Assad gas attack was reported, the stage was set for a US missile strike. No comprehensive investigation of the purported gas attack was undertaken.

EIGHT: There are, of course, precedents for US wars based on false evidence—the missing WMDs in Iraq, the claims of babies being pushed out of incubators in Kuwait, to name just two.

NINE: Who benefits from the sarin gas story? Assad? Or US neocons; the US military-industrial complex; Pentagon generals who want a huge increase in their military budget; Trump and his team, who are suddenly praised in the press, after a year of being pilloried at every turn; and ISIS?

TEN: For those who doubt that ISIS has ever used poison gas, see the NY Times (11/21/2016). While claiming that Assad has deployed chemical attacks, the article also states that ISIS has deployed chemical weapons 52 times since 2014.

I’m not claiming these ten reasons definitely and absolutely rule out the possibility of an Assad-ordered chemical attack. But they do add up to a far more believable conclusion than the quickly assembled “Assad-did-it” story.
These ten reasons starkly point to the lack of a rational and complete investigation of the “gas attack.”
And this lack throws a monkey wrench into Trump’s claim that he was ordering the missile strike based on “a high degree of confidence.”

Already in 1983 plans to attack Syria from 3 neighbouring countries were made.

CIA officer Graham Fuller proposed a plan to deal with Syria under Assad’s predecessor — his father, Hafez al-Assad — and is dated September 14, 1983.
Fuller’s analysis, describes Assad as a nuisance hindering the interests of the USA and Israel. Destabilisation of Iraq and Iran also features prominently in this plan to get rid of the elder Assad.

Here are some excerpts from Fuller’s document:
Syria at present has a hammerlock on US interests both in Lebanon and in the Gulf — through closure of Iraq’s pipeline thereby threatening Iraqi internationalization of the war. The US should consider sharply escalating the pressures against Assad through covertly orchestrating simultaneous military threats against Syria from three border states hostile to Syria: Iraq, Israel and Turkey.
(…)
Faced with three belligerent fronts, Assad would probably be forced to abandon his policy of closure of the pipeline. Such a concession would relieve the economic pressure on Iraq, and perhaps force Iran to reconsider bringing the war to an end. It would be a sharpening blow to Syria’s prestige and could effect the equation of forces in Lebanon\
(…)
Syria continues to maintain a hammerlock on two key U.S. interests in the Middle East:
— Syrian refusal to withdraw its troops from Lebanon ensures Israeli occupation in the south;
— Syrian closure of the Iraqi pipeline has been a key factor in bringing Iraq to its financial knees, impelling it towards dangerous internationalization of the war in the Gulf.
Diplomatic initiatives to date have had little effect on Assad who has so far correctly calculated the play of forces in the area and concluded that they are only weakly arrayed against him. If the U.S. is to rein in Syria’s spoiling role, it can only do so through the exertion of real muscle which will pose a vital threat to Assad’s position and power

That certainly is a strong article by Theodore A. Postol, expert at MIT in ballistic missiles and how toxic plumes move in the air.
It is difficult to read. Postol pays a lot of attention to how he estimated the times of the day, by using shadows in the pictures, which detracts from what he’s saying.

According to the official story the attack with poison gas, happened at 6:55 AM (local time). Because the temperature was too low at that time, most of the liquid Sarin wouldn’t evaporate.
It is unlikely that any terrorist would use liquid Sarin (which is quite difficult to use) at a time that the air temperature would be too low to evaporate.

This means that by 11 AM still a lot of the poison liquid wouldn’t have evaporated. We can see an unprotected individual next to the crater of the supposed chemical weapon attack at 10:50 AM. The area where he’s standing would be toxic and this individual would be subjected to the severe effects of Sarin.
Image

Analysis using weather data (wind direction) shows that only a small hamlet about 300 m to the east, southeast of the crater could be affected by the alleged nerve agent. Beyond the hamlet is a substantial amount of open space; so behind there could be no large amount of victims of the Sarin.
The videos don’t show a mass casualty at the hamlet, but victims at other locations (which is impossible).
The conclusion is obvious – the nerve agent attack described in the WHR did not occur as claimed.

President Assad has been ridiculed by our wonderful state media, for denying that his administration carried out the attack on April 4.
Assad has even said that possibly the dead children were faked to give Donald Trump a reason to carry out an attack against Syria:
We don’t know whether those dead children were killed in Khan Sheikhoun.“Were they dead at all?”.
According to the “independent” British delegation to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, samples proved that Sarin had been used in the attack.
In the meantime the (not independent!) Syrian government’s news agency accused American warplanes “without evidence” of bombing a chemical weapons cache possessed by ISIS on Wednesday, leaving hundreds dead, including “a large number of civilians, due to suffocation caused by the inhalation of toxic materials”.
The strike, on Tuesday in Tabqah, Syria, was the third time in a month that American-led airstrikes may have killed civilians or allies: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/13/worl ... .html?_r=1

The more I search for information, the more confused I get about a world where everything is upside down.
If I understand correctly ISIS (a.k.a. IS, or ISIL) is nothing but the new (or another) name for Al Qaeda.
Al Qaeda was the name for the CIA-database of Muslim “freedom fighters” in Afghanistan to fight for opium production (or was it against Communism?).

In Yemen the Houthi rebels, who fight against the dictatorial Yemeni government, are terrorists that need to be defeated, so millions of Yemenis are starved to death, all in the name of freedom and democracy.
There are repeated claims that the bombs thrown on Yemen are against Al Qaeda. I really don’t know if, according to the state media, the Houthis are Al Qaeda...

We see all kinds of stories in the state media about the horrible Al Qaeda and ISIS.
There is not only evidence that Al Qaeda was created, funded and trained in the 1980s by the US government, but even that for the last years the US government has continued its support for Al Qaeda in Syria...

In one of those wonderful displays of international human rights, the US led coalition keeps on bombing Syria. This is supposedly aimed at the regime of Assad, but it’s (of course) the people that suffer.
Earlier this month Syria was bombed again. According to the state media this was aimed at pro-regime forces that posed a threat to coalition-backed forces.
This story even claims that the US is fighting against ISIS, this is even more ridiculous than the whole Russia against the USA rhetoric (who, behind the scenes, have never been more “allied”): http://thehill.com/policy/defense/33407 ... y-in-syria

SAFE ZONE
In the meantime Russia has imposed a safe zone (de-confliction zone) upon the regime of Assad, where his troops are not allowed to fight against the “rebels”: https://www.rt.com/news/387304-syria-safe-zones-russia/
That this is a one way imposed zone, becomes clear when we find out that the US-led coalition attacked this part of Syria; claiming to “struck pro-regime forces (…) that posed a threat to U.S. and partner forces at At Tanf”, who supposedly fight against ISIS:
Coalition forces have been operating in the At Tanf area for many months training and advising vetted partner forces engaged in the fight against ISIS.
The agreed upon de-confliction zone agreement remains in effect.

Image

OBAMA / ISIS
There is evidence from Judicial Watch that the Obama administration (with Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State) financed, armed and trained Syrian terrorists (including ISIS).
Until September 2012 weapons that had belonged to the Libyan army were shipped from Benghazi to Syrian terrorists. Including weapons for Al Qaeda, that later was renamed ISIS: http://www.salon.com/2015/05/28/the_ben ... ing_about/

Official documents show that the Obama administration helped the extremist groups that were created in the Middle East by earlier US administrations.
According to CNN, the US and some of its European allies (including Britain!) have in fact used defence contractors to train Syrian rebels on how to use chemical weapons stockpiles in Syria, as well as in neighbouring Turkey and Jordan and “involves how to monitor and secure stockpiles and handle weapons sites and materials”: http://www.globalresearch.ca/obamas-gun ... st/5450832

There is also a (censored) October 2012 document from the DoD, published by Judicial Watch, that confirms that the Obama administration shipped weapons from the Port of Benghazi to rebel troops in Syria: http://www.judicialwatch.org/wp-content ... rsion1.pdf
Weapons from the former Libya military stockpiles were shipped from the port of Benghazi, Libya to the Port of Banias and the Port of Borj Islam, Syria. The weapons shipped during late-August 2012 were Sniper rifles, RPG’s, and 125 mm and 155mm howitzers missiles.
Another official document published by Judicial Watch, shows that the Obama administration helped to create the “IDEAL ATMOSPHERE“ for Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), against its “ENEMY, THE DISSENTERS”.
In August 2012, Hillary Clinton received this intelligence report: http://www.breitbart.com/2016-president ... -for-isis/

CIA-GOOGLE-AL QAEDA
In 2012, Google helped Al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups, like the Muslim Brotherhood, to gain new members.
The then director of Google Ideas, Jared Cohen, coordinated support for these “rebel” groups. Google employed it’s expertise to help the conflict in Syria gain traction. In July 2012, Google provided a software tool, to tracked defections in Syria, which, with the help of Al-Jazeera, helped the Syrian “rebels” (terrorists).
According to US officials and Google, this should encourage people to take up arms and join the ranks of the “rebels”. Then Director of Policy Planning for Obama, Jake Sullivan, let Hillary Clinton know that “this is a pretty cool idea”.
Image

Another email by Sullivan shows that according to the Obama administration Al Qaeda (AQ) “is on our side in Syria”: https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/wi ... eda-syria/

CLINTON – LAFARGE, ISIS
Clinton earned $100,000 from the French company Lafarge (she has worked for Lafarge since the late 1980s) that has been financing ISIS: https://www.thecanary.co/2016/07/29/par ... y-clinton/

In 1992 (when Clinton served on its board of directors) Lafarge was fined $1.8 million by the Environmental Protection Agency. After Bill Clinton became president that fine was reduced to less than $600,000: http://www.thecommonsenseshow.com/2016/ ... l-weapons/

ISIS - MOSSAD
Does ISIS stand for Israeli Secret Intelligence Service?
There is a bizarre story on the internet that the leader of ISIS, Al-Baghdadi, is really the (Jewish) Mossad agent Simon Elliot: https://syrianfreepress.wordpress.com/2 ... -baghdadi/
See the following photographs of Al-Baghdadi with US senator John McCain and (another) terrorist Muhammed Noor. Also pictured is Simon Elliot (below on the right on the couch with a woman), who bears a striking resemblance to Al-Baghdadi…

There is a reported “bombshell” report in the alternative media, that shows that the US government transports weapons to ISIS in Syria...

Because in our Brave new world the majority of people suffers from amnesia, nobody can remember that this is actually old “news”. A CIA report from 1983 shows plans to start a war against Syria.
There is also evidence that the Obama administration supported ISIS in Syria.

So what is the bombshell? The government censoring documents?!?
I have to admit that to $2.2 billion worth of weapons ($584 million in 2017 and $584 million in 2018, and another $900 million until 2022) sounds like a lot. More suffering for the Syrian population (and more migrants flooding the EU) is the inevitable result: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-09-1 ... inked-orga

The following story could be the real “bombshell”, but only if somebody is able to connect the dots...
The German prosecutor’s office in Kaiserslautern said Friday it is looking into a report that the Pentagon used Ramstein Air Base to transport weapons covertly to rebel fighters in Syria.
The weapons transfer through Ramstein would have required permission from the German government: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-09-1 ... goes-viral

Sure Germany is “sensitive” that information like this will come out during the first 9 months of 2017.
This cannot possibly be a ploy to manipulate the elections of the German Bundestag on 24 September 2017: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/0/germa ... rth-term1/

Maybe that the weapons suppliers — primarily in Eastern Europe but also in Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Ukraine — have links to organised crime is a “bombshell”. But then again the Trump Organization has been involved in money laundering since at least the 1980s: https://newrepublic.com/article/143586/ ... -syndicate

Of course we can sleep through both the night and day knowing that Robert Mueller’s “investigation” doesn’t cover this up.
Maybe I’m the only one to think it’s suspicious that Robert Mueller is connected to none other than Brian McCauley, who received $28,000 of the suspicious money from the Dutch-Turkish agent Ekim Alptekin to the Flynn Intel Group, which was laundered through the Dutch Inovo BV: http://lawfulpath.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... t=20#p4227
