Dropping Support for NRA Post-Parkland

Post by editor »

I've just read an article dated 02/24/2018 in which the author provides a list of companies which have announced they are dropping support for the NRA, in the wake of the Parkland school shooting. Here's the list:
  • Hertz car rentals
  • First National Bank of Omaha
  • Avis rentals
  • Budget rentals
  • MetLife Insurance
  • Allied Van Lines (Sirva)
  • North American moving company (Sirva)
  • Symantec (Norton Anti-Virus)
Effective immediately I am withdrawing support from all of these companies forever, unless any of them might come out denying this public stance against the NRA. I will update this list with any additional companies which follow suit.

In the nature of full disclosure-- I was formerly a member of the NRA myself until sometime in the late 80s or early 90s, when the NRA came out in favor of the "Three Strikes and You're Out" legislation. That legislation, which was subsequently adopted in various jurisdictions and for certain crimes, assigned statutory punishments for conviction of those crimes, leaving no room for judicial discretion. These laws, in my opinion, violate due process and put the public at risk. Subsequent to learning the NRA was pushing for this legislation, I canceled my membership along with a letter in which I explained my reason for doing so.

Therefore I am not an NRA member, and I do not agree with everything they espouse. However I do believe they have made some valuable contributions in the war against the socialist tyrants who want to disarm Americans.

The original article from which I took the names of these companies is here.

Note: According to the Wall Street Journal, these names can be added to the boycott list:
  • Chubb Ltd. (insurance)
  • Enterprise Holdings (Enterprise, Alamo, and National rental-cars)
  • Delta Air Lines
  • United Airlines

One of the obvious objectives of these false flags is gun control…

Cameron Kasky, one of the student “survivors” of the Stoneman Douglas high school “shooting”, makes highly respected Senator Marco Rubio look like a mumbling fool.
The focus is on donations from the National Rifle Association (NRA) to Rubio.

President Donald Trump during a White House meeting with politicians, appeared to endorse Democrats’ proposals for gun control.

Trump said: “You have a different president now”, he would outlaw “bump stocks” with an executive order by the end of the week and urged them to combine their proposals into a single “beautiful” bill.
Trump also said:
I don’t want mentally ill people to be having guns, take the guns first, go through due process second
