Naturally the corrupt president of Ukraine Zelenskyy denied that he is a mere puppet of Kolomoisky.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky meets his billionaire partner in crime Ihor Kolomoisky, 10 September 2019.

In reality Zelensky didn't take any action against the corrupt oligarchy.
Only when his ratings dropped, Zelensky made a lot of noise about his anti-oligarch bill in June 2021.
In 2020, Viktor Medvedchuk controlled 3 television news channels - 112 Ukraine, NewsOne, and ZIK - but he also owned 25% of 1+1 (that effectively launched Zelensky career), with the rest owned by Kolomoisky!
There are lots of stories about Zelensky's actions against Medvedchuk, but only 3 of around 100 entities owned by Medvedchuk were sanctioned. His oil pipeline PrykarpatZakhidTrans was however seized, with rumours that the state will hand it over to Kolomoisky.
In 2014, Ukraine stopped importing Russian gas, but continued to import Russian oil.
Lucrative oil deals with Russia have helped make/keep Medvedchuk one of the richest, most powerful, oligarchs of the Ukraine: https://ecfr.eu/publication/faltering-f ... oligarchs/

I guess it's just another one of those "coincidences" that Zelenskyy's chief of staff, Andriy Bohdan, was Kolomoisky’s lawyer.
After Petro Poroshenko became Ukrainian president in 2014, Kolomoisky had his PrivatBank taken away when it was nationalised by the Poroshenko administration. Kolomoisky has unsuccesfully started several lawsuits to claim damages: https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/u ... olomoisky/
Maybe you know that all of these oligarchs use all sort of "offshore" constructions to hide their wealth and evade taxes.
Politrickers can use similar constructions so they can get the bribes and kickbacks paid without being caught.
So naturally Zelenskyy uses offshore accounts and shell companies, while ownership has been given to his wife so it can all remain a dirty little secret.
Zelenskiy’s competitors for the presidential elections have accused him of taking a cool $41 million through offshore firms from Kolomoisky entities between 2012 and 2016.
Also strange is that on 13 March 2019, 2 weeks before the voting in Ukraine’s election started, Zelenskiy "gave" his quarter stake in Maltex to Serhiy Shefir (his long-time associate). Even though technically speaking Zelenskiy’s Film Heritage no longer owned a stake in Maltex, it would continue to pay dividends.
Zelenskiy’s links to Maltex could also prove controversial because Maltex's main activities are not only in Ukraine, but also in (bad!) Russia and Belarus: https://www.theguardian.com/news/2021/o ... -zelenskiy
The Russian-affiliated Ukrainian oligarch Akhmetov received $21 million in cheap PPP "small business" loans from the US government.
Former owners of Privatbank, Ihor Kolomoisky and Gennadiy Boholiubov, also received PPP "small business" loans: https://www.occrp.org/en/daily/13014-uk ... ness-loans
And this really makes it a full circle once again...
In September 2007, Igor Kolomoisky acquired a 3% stake (worth $110 million) and a seat on the board of directors of Central European Media Enterprises that was founded and chaired by Ronald Lauder: https://www.finanznachrichten.de/nachri ... rs-008.htm
Ronald Lauder is of course the Chabad-Lubavitcher, Mega Group member, Donald Trump’s buddy and President of the World Jewish Congress.
On 19 April 2016, Ronald Lauder praised the Russian crackdown of anti-Semitism and shook the hands of Chabad buddy Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin in Moscow.
