About The Lawful Path

The Lawful Path first went online in A.D. 1996. It was the beginning of the Internet revolution, and it was also a time during which the lights started coming on in the heads of a great many Americans. Gregory Allan and Steven Americo conceived of TLP, and wrote its first code, in Gregory's basement.

It all started when Gregory bought a copy of Johnny Liberty's book The Sovereign American. It contained ideas and proposed solutions that carried his thinking in a different direction. Gregory introduced Steven to the book, and he was also excited about it. The two men started seeking out others of similar interests, and one Saturday, attended a presentation put on in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, by Jack Smith of Right Way L.A.W.

Jack is a very engaging and knowledgeable speaker. Gregory and Steven joined Right Way, and later attended their Frontline Masters program.

The idea of TLP was simple. We believe that people can only be free if they know what freedom is, and what it takes to obtain and keep it. We believe public education is predisposed to teach its students how to be good slaves for the people who pay the bill -- government. We believed the Internet was the new "printing press"; that it held a great potential to spread these ideas to the masses, and to wake up America. So we built it. There are many such sites now, but TLP was one of the first.

Steven and Gregory have since gone their separate ways, and TLP is run mainly by Gregory, with the help and cooperation of some like-minded friends.

At times the Site has gone months without updates, but has lately received a facelift and some content updates that we hope will make it an enjoyable and informative place to visit.

TLP is a place where:

  • People new to the ideas of freedom can come to learn the questions they should be asking; and
  • Those who know the right questions can find a few answers.

Of course, most of us who have been doing this for more than a few years have learned that for every solid answer we discover, at least two more questions usually pop up.

We believe that knowledge is the key, and that sharing this knowledge is a means to an end. If you aren't sure yet what end we have in mind, please visit our Reading Room. The best way to learn about TLP is to read what we publish, and discern for yourself.

If you learn a little something along the way. . . well then, we've done our job.

(Isaiah 33:22) For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us.
